About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Dynamite. As a key member of our building services team, you will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contribute to the successful completion of projects by providing technical services in accordance with project time and quality.
  2. Maintain and enhance your design and technical knowledge to ensure the production of high-quality drawings.
  3. Design and develop electrical systems, including lighting, LV supply, and small power distribution, earthing and lightning protection, fire and voice alarm systems, telecommunication services, low current and extra low voltage services, automatic controls, and BMS.
  4. Prepare electrical design calculations, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
  5. Participate in design progress and coordination meetings.
  6. Coordinate with other discipline engineers as applicable for the continuity of the design process.
Requirements
  1. A BEng(Hons) Degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
  2. Excellent report writing skills, experience of making presentations and attending meetings with clients essential.
  3. 4-8 years of relevant experience in design and delivery of projects within the consulting industry.
  4. Experience and track record in the design of electrical systems on a variety of building projects, i.e., retail, mixed-use developments, hospitality, healthcare, offices, and industrial.
  5. Proficient in the use of IT systems with experience of using Amtech Pro Design, Dialux and/or Dialux Evo, Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
