We are seeking an experienced Corporate Governance Professional to join our team at BWW Recruitment. As a Company Secretary, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest governance standards are applied across our client's EMEA operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective communication between Boards, Committees, and the business, operating to the highest standards.
  • Meet all applicable governance requirements and complete standard company secretarial activities in a timely and effective manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Board and Committee members, as well as senior executives within the organization.
  • Provide excellent minute-taking ability, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Contribute to the team's success by being a team player, willing to help others and contribute to the team's goals.
  • Work under pressure, with flexibility to adapt to shifting time expectations and manage competing demands.
  • Develop and maintain highly organized systems and processes, with excellent personal time management skills.
  • Ensure attention to detail and proofing skills are applied to all reports and documents.
  • Develop and maintain excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across the business, operations, and suppliers at all levels of management.
  • Make presentations to Boards and Committees, either in person or by conference phone, with confidence and clarity.
  • Draft clear and precise reports for submission to Boards and Committees.
  • Familiarity with Blueprint Software is an advantage, as is a good understanding and interest in investment instruments and markets.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory and corporate environment for UCITS companies/funds is preferred but not essential.
  • Track record of leadership on governance and company secretarial matters within a high-profile environment, with a focus on delivering change and driving governance best practices.
