Social Media Content Creator

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Social Media Officer to join our team at the University of Hull. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for creating, posting, and scheduling engaging content across our social media channels to reflect the University's objectives and communications plans.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a social media strategy that aligns with the University's brand and communications objectives.
- Create high-quality, engaging content for our social media channels, including writing, designing, and sourcing visual content.
- Monitor and respond to social media conversations, engaging with our audience and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Work closely with colleagues across the University to create relevant and engaging content, including staff, students, and alumni.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of social media activity, reporting findings and making improvements as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to create engaging content for a variety of audiences.
- Experience of working in a social media role, with a strong understanding of social media platforms and their capabilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to monitor and evaluate the impact of social media activity.
