Senior Paid Social Media Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Paid Social Media Strategist to join our team at Summit, a leading digital marketing agency. As a Paid Social Media Strategist, you will play a key role in developing and executing our paid social media strategy, working closely with our Sales Director to ensure a compelling story for the market.
About the Day-to-Day
- Create a knowledge library using Facebook's Blueprint support pages and incorporate our best practices.
- Develop and document best practices for paid social channels.
- Develop relationships with social platforms.
- Develop and document our best practices for paid social channels to enhance our standing in the market.
- Actively engage Senior Account Managers to determine where there are overflow opportunities to support with delivery challenges and ensure best practice implementation and identify areas for automation.
- Highlight any opportunities to engage with clients to open new media spend on social channels.
- Oversee the Performance team from a BAU execution perspective to ensure our BAU is best in class.
- Support with implementation of actions that we learn across accounts and support with the development of best practice implementation.
- Be our internal voice of paid social, including article creation, industry updates shared both internally and externally, one per month.
- Own new client onboarding and be the expert within the delivery team for the first months of onboarding to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction during migration.
About You
We are looking for a knowledgeable Paid Social Media Strategist with a proven history of client delivery and development. You will have:
- At least 2-5 years of experience within a similar role.
- Experience of both awareness and direct response campaigns.
- Fantastic communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders and clients.
- Familiarity with delivering across a range of PPC, programmatic display, and paid social platforms, including Google, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Knowledge of analytics packages such as GA, Coremetrics, and Adobe.
- Proficiency in supporting others with performance challenges, driving insights, and developing appropriate strategies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with an analytical, detail-oriented approach.
