Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Saab AB. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Goods Receipt and Storage: Receive and process incoming stock and materials accurately and efficiently, ensuring all goods are safely stored and stock rotation techniques are applied.
  • Inventory Management: Locate stock into the correct locations, ensuring all stock is easily identifiable and free of contamination or damage.
  • Picking and Packing: Pick work orders and sales orders in relation to picking lists, ensuring excellent levels of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Yard Management: Ensure the yard is organized, clean, and safe, with stock located appropriately according to its physical size.
  • Waste Management: Support the processing of waste collection in line with business requirements.
  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries with the appropriate level of urgency and provide accurate information.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain all stores-related equipment and vehicles, reporting any malfunctions to the Materials Supervisor.
  • Stock Accuracy: Maintain high levels of stock accuracy and report any stock discrepancies to the Materials Supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Physical Abilities: Comfortable working at heights of 4.5 meters and able to perform general physical activities in the stores area.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in using relevant IT systems and equipment required to perform the role.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and other departments.
