Job Opportunity: Account Handler

Miller Insurance Services LLP is seeking an experienced Account Handler to join our growing team, working closely with brokers and other Account Handlers to support clients and deliver exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Support: Understand clients' business and risk management needs, providing ongoing support and service.
  • Renewal Management: Manage impending renewals, gathering information in a timely manner to secure terms and place orders.
  • Market Documentation: Prepare market documentation in accordance with client and market requirements.
  • Presentation Support: Support the creation of presentations for new and existing clients.
  • Client Documentation: Produce accurate and timely client documentation, including Market Reform Contracts and Evidence of Cover.
  • Market Closure: Ensure market documentation is closed efficiently, with particular attention to Premium Payment Warranty provisions and contract certainty deadlines.
  • Insurance Placement: Liaise with technical teams to deliver and process insurance placements.
  • Document Management: Maintain accurate and concise placing files using our corporate document management system.
  • Compliance: Liaise with compliance to ensure all procedures are followed.
  • Quality Control: Input data accurately and timely into all applicable systems.
  • Documentation Review: Perform quality control checks on all documentation.
Requirements:
  • CII Qualifications: Working towards CII qualifications, with Cert or higher an advantage.
  • GCSE Requirements: GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above.
Knowledge and Experience:
  • Insurance Market: Understanding of the London Insurance Market and regulatory bodies.
  • Market Knowledge: Working knowledge of markets used in classes of business experienced in, e.g. Lloyds, London, Overseas.
  • Product Knowledge: Good knowledge of relevant products within classes of business experienced in.
  • Account Handling Experience: Experience working in an Account Handling role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft packages.
