Key Responsibilities of an Assistant Manager for Supported Living Services:
- Assist the Registered Manager in the daily operations of the supported living service.
- Oversee and mentor a team of Support Workers.
- Aid in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members.
- Maintain precise documentation.
- Support the execution of care plans and action strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with service users and their families.
- Ensure the service is ready for inspections.
- Provide leadership and coaching to enhance team performance.
Required Qualifications for an Assistant Manager for Supported Living Services:
- Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial position within the healthcare sector.
- Empathetic nature with exceptional communication skills.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations.
- Minimum NVQ level 3 required.
- Flexibility to work various shifts.
- Dedication to improving the lives of individuals with learning disabilities.
