About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Carbon60 Careers. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance work associated with all electrical systems, including planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance requests.
- Isolate defective equipment from power supply, check visually for faults, test for faults, isolate the problem areas and take corrective action to repair the problem.
- Install electrical systems and associated equipment, followed by the appropriate certification.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
- Comply with all company procedures and protocols, including health and safety regulations.
- Participate in the on-call system, which may require you to become an authorized person for your relevant competency.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- DBS clearance and ability to obtain BPSS clearance.
