As a key member of the Neuro-oncology team, you will provide holistic care and support to patients with brain and rare central nervous system tumours, pituitary tumours, skull base tumours, and spinal tumours.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and support, working closely with consultants, oncologists, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patients receive timely and effective treatment.
- Collaborate with the Neuro-oncology team to ensure seamless care delivery and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in the development of services for Neuro-oncology patients and their carers.
- Contribute to the education and training of healthcare professionals, promoting best practices in Neuro-oncology care.
- Post-basic qualification in Neurosciences (Neurosurgery or Neurology) or relevant subject.
- Relevant post-registration experience in Neurosciences, cancer, or palliative care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and IT skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
