Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our team at BSI Group. As a key member of our Legal department, you will provide legal and commercial expertise to our EMEA business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal support to our EMEA business on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, with a focus on commercial law.
  • Assist business colleagues in the drafting, negotiation, review, and approval of contracts for our EMEA businesses, including advising on tender documentation, supplier contracts, amendments to contracts, and partner agreements.
  • Manage commercial projects, including creating project plans, liaising with business colleagues, negotiating with external partners, and taking the lead in concluding a wide range of contracts.
  • Work in a hybrid capacity, with an expectation of 2-3 days per week at our EMEA HQ in Milton Keynes, or based in our Group HQ in London with frequent travel to Milton Keynes.

Requirements

  • 1 or above degree classification in English law, or similar Solicitor/Barrister qualified in England and Wales, or similar qualification in an analogous jurisdiction.
  • Legal training and post-qualification experience with a leading law firm will be hugely advantageous.
  • Experience as part of an in-house legal department of an organization is preferable.
