We are thrilled to announce an exceptional opportunity for an Accounts Assistant eager to advance their career as we seek a Junior Management Accountant.

This position has arisen due to the current Junior Management Accountant transitioning to a new role in the near future. The organization is keen to onboard a candidate who can collaborate with the incumbent over the coming months, gaining valuable insights and training for this role.

Importantly, the company is open to candidates who may not have prior experience in this specific position but are motivated to learn and grow into the role.


Key Responsibilities:
- Reconciling financial accounts.
- Processing and managing invoices.
- Assisting in the preparation of management account packages.
- Preparing balance sheets with detailed commentary.
- Investigating discrepancies between budgeted and actual figures.
- Aiding in the preparation of quarterly forecasts.
- Contributing to month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Supporting financial audit processes.
- Collaborating with various departments to ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Candidate Attributes and Skills:
- A background in finance with approximately 3-5 years of experience in roles such as purchase ledger, sales ledger, or accounts assistant.
- Familiarity with invoicing, reconciliations, and resolving finance-related queries.
- Currently pursuing or eager to pursue a relevant qualification such as CIMA.
- Availability to start immediately or on a short notice period.
