Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Safety Assurance Lead to join our team at Clarion Housing. As a Fire Safety Assurance Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our fire safety practices by developing, designing, and managing the implementation of local small activities and actions to meet the wider Fire Safety Strategy and Fire Safety Risk Management Framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Fire Safety professional advice with appropriate skills, knowledge, and experience to design appropriate strategies to scrutinize and provide assurance across Clarion's activities and portfolio of services impacted by fire safety.
- Develop and implement local small activities and actions to meet the wider Fire Safety Strategy and Fire Safety Risk Management Framework.
- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure that fire safety practices are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Provide expert advice on fire safety risk management frameworks and their application in a large organization.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and mitigate fire safety risks across the organization.
Requirements
- NEBOSH qualified with a Fire Safety Certificate or equivalent qualification.
- European Diploma in Fire Safety.
- IFE Graduate Grade Membership or equivalent qualification.
- Significant experience of working in a building or facilities management role.
- Sound understanding of housing construction, building pathology, and how fire systems work in assets.
