About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Systems Engineer to join our team at FAFS Fire & Security. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our fire detection and alarm systems in the London region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Identify and rectify any issues or defects with fire alarm systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Work closely with our customers to understand their fire safety needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless delivery of services and high-quality customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments and best practices in fire alarm systems.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of fire alarm systems and relevant regulations.
  • Full understanding of BS5839 Part 1 and other relevant standards.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA) and manufacturers' training in fire alarm systems.
  • Preferred knowledge of Siemens and Gent analogue fire alarm systems.
