Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Carl Dylan Resourcing Limited. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, maximizing sales, and minimizing costs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Store Manager in managing the store's operations, including stock management, inventory control, and visual merchandising.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales assistants to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and control costs, including labor costs, inventory costs, and overheads.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives, including sales growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and travel within a 45-minute radius of your home location.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in business administration or related field preferred.
