Job Overview

Scope AT Limited is seeking an experienced F5 Load Balancing Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, with a focus on load balancing and proxy technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical leadership and expertise in load balancing, proxy, and network address translation technologies.
  • Network Reviews: Conduct proactive network reviews to identify vulnerabilities, opportunities for improvement, and ensure observability across the network stack.
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor Production Services Specialists and provide technical leadership within the team.
  • Documentation and Communication: Work with senior team members to validate impacts and communicate technical status updates to stakeholders.
  • Knowledge Management: Participate in the documentation of application flows, upstream/downstream impacts during outages, and ensure runbooks and knowledge management sites are up to date.

Required Skills:

  • Specialist Experience: Load Balancing Technologies (F5 and AVI), Proxy Technologies (Trellix and BlueCoat), Threat Prevention, IDS/IPS, Firewall Technologies (Fortinet and Checkpoint), Network Resiliency, WAN/MAN, LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, UDP, Latency, VRRP, BGP, Multicast, IPv4, IPv6, VPN.
  • Configuration Management: Understand configuration management with tools such as Forward Networks and HPNA.
  • Advanced Tooling: Experience using advanced tooling, including NetScout, Wireshark, Splunk, SevOne, HPNA, NNMI, OBM, IBM Watson, NSO.
  • Network Automation: General experience in Network Automation tools and processes.

This is a contract role, working hybrid hours, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and contributing to the success of Scope AT Limited.
