Your Role

We're seeking a Development Underwriter to join our established and experienced Underwriting team in Glasgow. As a Development Underwriter, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of broker relationships and acquiring and retaining profitable business from brokers in the Scotland region.

You'll work closely with key stakeholders to achieve growth and profit, and you'll have the opportunity to build and implement sales strategies for your broker panel. You'll also spend time on site in brokers' offices, underwriting new business and renewals.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have considerable commercial underwriting experience across Property & Casualty or Fleet, and you'll need good negotiation and influencing skills to work closely with your broker panel. You'll also need good product and market knowledge.
