Ground Segment Software Architect



We are seeking a highly skilled Software Architect to support our clients' pivotal project work and contribute to bid and proposal writing to shape future projects. Our client is a leading company in the space industry, with a strong focus on innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities
Software Architect:
  • Design and develop software-based Ground Segment Systems, including Monitoring and Control Segment Systems, Mission Systems, User Segment Systems, and Earth Observation Data Management Systems.
  • Plan and execute Integration and Test campaigns.
  • Produce technical and development plans.
  • Participate in technical reviews.
Preparation of Proposals:
  • Understand technical requirements and project scope.
  • Specify solutions and trade off alternatives.
  • Write clear and concise technical proposals.
Software Development:
  • Support software development projects as required, including coding, code review, and prototyping.

Qualifications and Experience
  • University degree in Software Engineering or related field.
  • At least 10 years of commercial experience in software development, preferably in the space industry.
