Job Title: Sexual Health Outreach Worker

Birmingham LGBT is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our community sexual health team as a Sexual Health Outreach Worker. The successful candidate will work towards improving the sexual health of the LGBTQ+ community in Birmingham and Solihull.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide sexual health services from the Birmingham LGBT Centre and in off-site outreach locations.
  • Work with the community to reduce the incidence of STI infection and poor sexual health.
  • Develop and provide a sexual health and wellbeing service that meets the needs of LGBTQ+ people.
Requirements:
  • Accountable to the Sexual Health Services Manager.
  • 18.5 hours per week (plus up to 5% matched pension contributions).
  • Working on a rota basis including evening and weekend work and some travel to sites in Birmingham and Solihull.
  • 25 days annual leave per annum (pro rata) plus bank holidays.
