About the Role

Spectrum Community Health CIC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the operational delivery and service impact of Healthwatch Wakefield. As Chief Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient operations, effective community engagement, and compliance with contractual obligations.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the operational delivery of Healthwatch Wakefield, ensuring efficient operations and effective community engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service impact and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Manage a team of staff, including direct line management responsibility for around seven staff.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including Healthwatch Wakefield Trustee Board and Chair, to achieve organizational goals.
  • Develop and manage budgets, including a budget of circa £450,000.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in a health or social care setting.
  • Strong strategic and operational management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and manage budgets.
  • Experience of working with stakeholders, including boards and committees.
