About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, your main focus will be on ensuring high-quality manufacturing operations and contributing to the production of state-of-the-art products that enhance global security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Certify products in line with product certification procedures.
  • Support industrial validation process through the use of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), process proving activities, etc.
  • Support non-conformance process.
  • Liaise with design authority to ensure optimized Design for Manufacture (DfM).
  • Maintain product certification and approval through regular audits.
  • Apply a versatile skill set across a variety of tasks.
  • Operate all equipment, tools, and measuring implements associated with the manufacturing cycle.
  • Ensure manufacturing build, inspection, and test times are met.
  • Complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack accurately.
  • Uphold the highest standards of workmanship and product quality.
  • Comply with all procedures related to the manufacturing process.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to good housekeeping policies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent academic qualifications.
  • Proven ability to certify products and apply a wide range of skills using various tools and instruments.
  • Strong team player with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic working environment.
