About the Role
Vistry Group PLC is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost information to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide up-to-date cost information to support business decisions
- Attend development meetings and contract pre-start meetings
- Carry out pre-order meetings and finalise tender sums
- Check and arrange subcontractor payments
- Internal BOQ production for all elements of Vistry Works production
- Place subcontractor orders and negotiate costs
- Issue variation orders and provide cost advice on major variations
- Agree final accounts with subcontractors and analyse costs
- Promote good working relations with internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure all relevant stakeholders are informed of key departmental developments
