Nursery Room Leader Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at a well-established day nursery in Maidenhead, Berkshire. Our nursery offers a bright and modern setting with spacious rooms, high-quality resources, and access to secure garden spaces.
As a Nursery Room Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the early experiences of young learners. You will be responsible for creating a welcoming, organised, and stimulating room environment where children can explore, learn, and develop to their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Assume a leadership role within a dedicated room, guiding and inspiring a team of practitioners to deliver high-quality childcare and education.
- Develop and implement a stimulating and innovative curriculum, ensuring alignment with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and fostering a love for learning.
- Support and mentor team members, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating continuous professional development to enhance individual and collective skills.
- Cultivate strong relationships with parents and guardians through effective communication, regular updates, and organised events, fostering a sense of community.
- Take responsibility for the overall quality of care within the designated room, conducting regular assessments, and implementing improvements to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years Childcare recognised qualification.
- Significant experience in an early years setting, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Thorough understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve outstanding outcomes for children.
