Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Building Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will assist in the efficient coordination of construction field activities, ensuring the project stays on track, safe, and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and terminology, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Site Supervisor in coordinating construction activities, equipment, and crew.
  • Oversee day-to-day activities at the site to ensure work is conducted according to drawings, specifications, and safety guidelines.
  • Develop, monitor, and update construction work schedules.
  • Maintain accurate cost control plans through inputting daily completion units and material packing slips.
  • Coordinate the procurement of construction materials, ensuring timely deliveries and accurate purchase orders.
  • Arrange and conduct necessary construction field services.
  • Keep detailed Daily Project Reports using the application Site Docs and according to COR standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a diploma in Civil Engineering Technology/Technician.
  • 2-3 years of related Canadian job site experience.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and terminology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's G license with clean abstract.
