About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our team at Sanderson, a leading provider of managed Cloud provision services. As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our global networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network architectures to support our cloud-based services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network uptime and performance
  • Investigate and diagnose network-related incidents and develop solutions to prevent future occurrences
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our network infrastructure remains secure and efficient
  • Develop and maintain network documentation and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and consistency
Requirements
  • Extensive technical background with Cisco routing and switching technologies
  • Strong understanding of data center environments and network security
  • Broad understanding of Juniper network environments (EX/QFX Switching, SRX Firewalls) - JNCIP preferred
  • Strong understanding of Juniper SRX security appliances
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with network design in large data centers
  • Experience with Arista low latency switching environments
  • Understanding of VXLAN/EVPN deployment and management
  • Network Automation/Programming using Python and/or other scripting languages
  • Thorough understanding of Linux and Windows Server OS
