  • Proven experience in handling defendant industrial disease claims.
  • Collaborate within a team dedicated solely to defended industrial disease claims, which is part of a larger office managing a variety of claims and legal matters.
  • Manage a caseload consisting of industrial disease claims, including NIHL, HAVS, and asbestos-related conditions, while also supporting senior lawyers on more intricate cases.
  • Work with a diverse range of insurer clients and self-insured companies that engage our services directly.
  • Ensure adherence to DAC Beachcroft protocols regarding billing and credit control, demonstrating a high level of financial management for your files.
  • Contribute to marketing and business development efforts within the team, including client meetings, training sessions, and marketing events.
  • Enhance and maintain technical knowledge through training sessions, relevant publications, and, when necessary, exceed Law Society CPD requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • A Legal Advisor or Senior Paralegal with a strong interest and demonstrated ability in injury claims.
  • Ability to foster positive relationships within the team and with our commercial/insurer clients.
  • Awareness of management information, client-driven KPIs, and their significance in meeting client expectations is advantageous.
  • Confidently and professionally address client inquiries on a daily basis.
  • Capacity to adopt a commercial perspective rather than an academic approach to legal matters.
  • Team-oriented and collaborative, willing to share knowledge and support fellow team members.
  • Alignment with the Firm's Cultural Principles (Clear, Creative, Determined, and Supportive).
