Internal Auditor Opportunity at nChain

nChain, a global leader in blockchain technology, is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our team. As an Internal Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our internal controls and risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Head of Audit and Assurance in planning, executing, and reporting the results of internal audits.
  • Determine the internal audit scope and develop annual plans.
  • Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, previous reports, data, flowcharts, etc.
  • Lead the operations team in performing risk assessments on key business activities and guide the audit process.
  • Research and assess the effectiveness of risk management processes.
  • Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to risks in different department functions.
  • Document processes and prepare audit findings memoranda.
  • Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and goal achievement.
  • Prepare internal audit reports and report to the Audit & Risk Committee and Head of Audit.
  • Interact with staff to obtain an understanding of relevant risks, controls, and processes.
  • Conduct research and complete assigned audit training requirements to maintain relevance.
  • Monitor audit progress and project manage to completion stage.
  • Maintain audit data rooms and undertake projects to achieve efficiencies in the Fin Ops and Audit Department.
  • Undertake research for accounting and related technical articles and assist in internal publications.
Requirements:
  • BS degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Proven working experience as an Internal Auditor.
