About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to lead and develop the delivery of psychoanalytic psychotherapy treatment in CAMHS. The successful candidate will have a keenness and ability to integrate their current skills and apply them in this context.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the delivery of psychoanalytic psychotherapy treatment in CAMHS.
  • Use psychoanalytic skills within the core service and the under 5's service.
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care to children and young people.
  • Develop and implement creative solutions to improve mental health difficulties.

Requirements

  • Qualification in Child Psychotherapy at an ACP recognised training school.
  • Membership of the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP) and evidence of continuous professional development as required by the ACP.
  • Substantial post-qualification experience as a practising child psychotherapist within CAMHS.
  • Post-qualification CPD.
