About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team at Heerema Marine Contractors. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning engineering projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan engineering projects, including offshore projects, to ensure timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks, and develop solutions to complex engineering challenges.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, and contribute to the development of engineering best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements, and apply this knowledge to improve project delivery and engineering processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in engineering, project preparation, and execution of offshore projects.
  • Excellent analytical, practical, and pragmatic skills, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
  • A willingness to share knowledge and expertise with junior engineers, and a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
