Job Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.

About the Role

As a Night Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing daily support to our residents, including assisting with personal care needs, preparing food, and supporting with medication. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean living environment, ensuring the health and safety of our residents, and providing emotional support and companionship.

Requirements
  • Knowledge of learning disabilities and complex needs is essential
  • Passionate, caring, and enthusiastic approach to care
  • Flexible, patient, and non-judgmental attitude
  • Great team player with lots of energy
  • Good communication skills, including understanding non-verbal communication
  • Able to complete physical aspects of the role, such as manual handling
  • Transferable experience of helping people to manage anxiety
