Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the booking of vehicles in and out of the facility, ensuring timely updates on the traffic log.
  • Oversee the intake of goods and the dispatch of finished products, ensuring all necessary documentation is accurately completed.
  • Verify that all finished items are properly recorded in the system.
  • Collaborate with forklift operators to determine which loads need to be unloaded and which are to be loaded onto vehicles.
  • Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure accurate stock movement and assignment.
  • Maintain meticulous records to guarantee that all outgoing products and order lines are 100% accurate.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to the warehouse management team promptly.
  • Employ handheld scanners and PCs to accurately document all stock movements within the warehouse.
  • Participate in regular physical inventory counts and ad hoc stock checks to uphold stock accuracy.
  • Keep the pallet reconciliation spreadsheet current and precise.
  • Perform any additional tasks as required by the business.
Working Hours and Shift Patterns

This role involves rotating shifts, including days and afternoons, across any five days of the week, with hours from 06:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00. Night shifts are from 22:00 to 06:00.

Compensation

The pay rates for this position are as follows:

  • Days/Afternoons: starting from £11.44/hour
  • Nights: starting from £12.50/hour

Upon successful completion of the probation period, pay rates will increase to £11.68/hour for Days/Afternoons and £12.74 for Nights.
