About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join our Contracting Team at Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering efficient and effective framework agreements and related mechanisms to our members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the production of purchasing agreements, including frameworks and dynamic purchasing systems.
  • Manage the procurement cycle across the People category, from business planning to contract management.
  • Provide procurement support and guidance to our members and suppliers.
  • Lead and develop a small team of direct reports, including Contract Manager, Senior Procurement Officer, and Procurement Officer(s).
Requirements
  • Extensive procurement experience within the public sector.
  • Detailed working knowledge of public sector procurement legislation.
  • Experience of working in the education sector.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Full membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS) is highly desirable.
What We Offer
  • Salary between £50,000 - £55,000 FTE, dependant on experience.
  • Discretionary annual bonus of up to £3,500.
  • 27 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and an additional three days' Christmas period closure.
