The Role: Trainee Careers Advisor
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Careers Advisor. In this role, you will play a vital part in guiding 16-18-year-olds who are not currently in education, employment, or training (NEET) towards fulfilling career paths.
Responsibilities:
- Build meaningful relationships with young people to understand their aspirations and challenges.
- Provide personalized guidance and support to help individuals identify their strengths, skills, and career options.
- Assist in developing action plans to overcome personal barriers and achieve career goals.
- Collaborate with partner organizations and professionals to create a comprehensive support network for young people.
- Contribute to the delivery of engaging workshops and training sessions.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with young people or in a similar field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
