The Role: Trainee Careers Advisor

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Careers Advisor. In this role, you will play a vital part in guiding 16-18-year-olds who are not currently in education, employment, or training (NEET) towards fulfilling career paths.

Responsibilities:

  • Build meaningful relationships with young people to understand their aspirations and challenges.
  • Provide personalized guidance and support to help individuals identify their strengths, skills, and career options.
  • Assist in developing action plans to overcome personal barriers and achieve career goals.
  • Collaborate with partner organizations and professionals to create a comprehensive support network for young people.
  • Contribute to the delivery of engaging workshops and training sessions.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working with young people or in a similar field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
