Job Summary:

Vibe Recruit is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Assistant to join our team on a night shift basis. As a key member of our quality control team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that food meets the highest standards before it reaches our elite customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct final checks on all food items to ensure correct packaging per job sheets.
  • Plate and prepare food items as needed.
  • Oversee the safe packaging of food for transit to airports.
  • Analyse food quality and feedback, and develop action plans with the Head Chef.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all food meets the highest standards, is plated in the correct packaging, and presented per specifications, with special attention to allergens and dietary restrictions.
  • Restocking: Ensure kitchen and QC packaging areas are fully stocked for the next day's operations.
  • Prepare fresh juices and smoothies according to specific order requirements.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and operations team regarding daily used items like milk, bread, and fruit.
  • Time Management: Ensure all food is packed on time for the driver to meet delivery schedules.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of food and allergens, ideally at a Sous Chef level.
  • Excellent attention to detail and understanding of quality control processes.
  • Valid UK Driving License.
  • Competitive salary with opportunities to earn additional income.
  • CAA training provided (valid for 3 years).
