Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Vehicle Damage Assessor to join our team in Aylesbury. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the workflow of job cards meets volume targets, identifying fast-track repairs, and collaborating with policyholders and engineering functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within site guidelines to ensure job cards are processed efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify fast-track repairs and ensure parts orders are accurate and follow purchase procedures.
  • Collaborate with policyholders and Direct Line Group engineering functions to resolve borderline repairable or beyond economical repair cases.
  • Provide service level agreements and ensure customers are contacted regarding repairs and non-related damage.
  • Accountable for Health and Safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Embed and maintain standard methodology and lean activities as instructed by business strategy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Thatcham repair methods, Audatex, and ATA qualification.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional service and achieving company targets.
