Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Automation Experts. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering innovative solutions to our clients in the water treatment industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Engineering Director and contribute to the development of project plans and strategies.
  • Deliver high-quality MEICAT project engineering services, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Identify and pursue new project opportunities, from initial enquiries to securing contracts.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and cost control, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and on time.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve project delivery and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship and/or HNC in Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering.
  • 18th Edition Electrical, SJIB Card, and relevant industry certifications.
  • Proven experience in waste water and water treatment, with a strong understanding of MEICAT principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
