Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking for a new challenge? With over a century of industry experience, Automation Experts is renowned for supporting blue-chip clients across a range of sectors, including Water, Power & Energy, Pharmaceutical and Food and Beverage.

The Role:

  • Designing and developing electrical systems for various projects, including MCC's, Switchboards and control systems
  • Creating electrical schematic diagrams and general arrangements using CAD software
  • Performing electrical calculations
  • Collaborating closely with other engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements and timelines
  • Participating in design reviews and providing technical guidance
  • Providing technical support to sales, production and project teams from bid through to commissioning

The Person:

  • HNC/HND/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design engineering
  • Proficiency in CAD software
  • Experience with electrical calculations
  • Knowledge of UK electrical codes and standards
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
