Business Intelligence and Data Migration Professional

Mastek is seeking a highly skilled Data Migration Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data migration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition of data from one system to another.
Key Responsibilities- Data Migration and Integration: Develop, implement, and optimize ETL/ELT processes using ODI, OBIEE, Workato, and PL/SQL.
- Data Engineering and Orchestration: Design and build data solutions on Azure, leveraging Databricks, Data Factory, and other Azure services.
- Real-Time Data Streaming: Utilize Python and PySpark for data transformation, analysis, and real-time streaming.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver insights.
- Technical Documentation: Create and manage technical documentation, including data models, process flows, and solution designs.
- Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, storage, and processing.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Team Leadership and Mentoring: Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.
- Stakeholder Management: Interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels to communicate project status, risks, and deliverables.
- Primary Skills
- ODI, OBIEE: Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience.
- Oracle SQL, PL/SQL: Proficiency in writing complex queries and scripts.
- ETL/ELT Concepts: Strong understanding and practical implementation experience.
- Azure Technologies
- Databricks, Data Factory: Expertise in data engineering and orchestration.
- DevOps, Storage Explorer, Data Studio: Competence in deployment, storage management, and development tools.
- Python, PySpark: Advanced coding skills, including real-time data streaming through Autoloader.
- Development Tools: VS Code, Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
- Service Management: Experience with ServiceNow.
- API Integration: Proficient in using Rest API for data integration.
- Secondary Skills
- AWS Services: Knowledge of AWS Postgres RDS, Athena, DMS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Kinesis streams, S3, and IAM roles.
- Additional Technologies: Familiarity with Groovy, Typescript, Power BI, and the Hydr8 framework is a plus.
- Experience: 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in Data Migration, BI, and Analytics.
- SDLC and Agile Methodologies: Strong understanding of SDLC lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
