Protocol Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to make a positive impact in the lives of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs across Sunderland.

In this role, you will provide crucial support to students with diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), complex learning disabilities, and those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs). You will collaborate closely with a supportive local authority dedicated to tailored support for each child.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Deliver individualized mental health support to children with SEMH needs in educational settings.
  • Work collaboratively with students with ASC, complex learning disabilities, and EHCPs to foster their academic and personal growth.
  • Contribute to a positive learning environment by implementing effective behavior management techniques and inspiring students to achieve their best.
  • Assist students in developing essential life skills and achieving their full potential.
