In this vital position, your primary responsibility will be to serve as the initial point of contact, delivering a telephony service for both internal and external clients. Reporting to the Telecommunication Supervisor, you will collaborate with the Switchboard team on our various contracts. Given the nature of a busy healthcare environment operating year-round, the ability to work on a rotating schedule, including nights and weekends, is essential. Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficient management of the telecommunication systems and associated technologies.
  • Respond to all incoming calls courteously and promptly.
  • Adhere to operational policies and procedures.
  • Assist fellow Sodexo staff in their responsibilities.
  • Provide operational support for other clerical personnel.
  • Facilitate telephone and in-person communication with internal staff and contractors.
  • Operate and maintain the paging and alert systems.
  • Initiate internal protocols during emergency calls or alarms.
  • Perform general administrative duties on a daily basis.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in customer service
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to adapt in a dynamic environment

  • General office experience is advantageous
