In this vital position, your primary responsibility will be to provide a telecommunication service for both internal and external clients. Reporting to the Telecommunication Supervisor, you will collaborate with the Telecommunication team on our operational contracts. You will also undertake various administrative tasks as needed. Comprehensive training will be provided for those eager to join this essential team. If you possess a professional telephone demeanor, relevant office experience, and can maintain composure in high-pressure situations, this role may be ideal for you. Strong communication skills are essential, along with proficient keyboard abilities and a willingness to learn.
Given the nature of our operations, which run 365 days a year, the ability to work on a rotating schedule, including nights and weekends, is crucial. Key Responsibilities:
- Efficient management of the telecommunication systems and processes.
- Answer all incoming calls courteously and swiftly.
- Adhere to operational guidelines and protocols.
- Assist fellow Sodexo staff in their responsibilities.
- Provide operational support for other administrative personnel.
- Engage in telephone and face-to-face communication with internal staff and contractors.
- Operate and maintain the paging and alert systems.
- Initiate internal protocols during emergency calls or alarms.
- Perform general administrative duties on a daily basis.
