Key Responsibilities- Develop and Drive Business Cases: Determine and drive standards for business cases, including the identification of benefits and sources of value (financial and non-financial), and develop program budgets to ensure effective return on investment.
- Support Business/Project Leaders: Collaborate closely with business/project leaders and change teams to create business propositions and identify sources of value, taking an active lead on strategic programmes.
- Build Transformation Financial Plan: Collaborate with CFO and other senior management to build a 5-year transformation financial plan and annual budget.
- Prioritize Programmes: Determine and ensure that programs are correctly prioritized to deliver the most overall value to the business.
- Reporting and Metrics: Ensure timely and accurate reporting against agreed metrics, in conjunction with the process lead to drive outcomes within approved parameters.
- Transformation Expertise: Recognized as a transformation expert across the business with validated business/commercial acumen and strong knowledge of business finance.
- Leadership Skills: A credible and responsible leader who generates respect.
- Decision-Making: Able to focus on hard outcomes – making logical decisions aligned to program landmarks, tracking progress and monitoring benefits, maintaining pace of execution whilst managing/mitigating risk.
- Industry Knowledge: Acquire an in-depth knowledge of St. James's Place, Partners, and Clients with a strong understanding of the wealth management industry, key competitors, and the regulatory environment.
- Data-Driven Analysis: Utilise data-driven analysis to structure a problem and provide recommendations that drive the best return for the business.
- Complex Problem-Solving: Assimilate large quantities of information and apply findings to solve complex planning and strategic problems.
- Adaptability: Work successfully in a constantly evolving and complex environment.
- Team Leadership: Responsible, with wider RDO leadership team, for shaping the RDO team in line with business requirements with a keen focus on budget and return on investment to drive forward business success and investor confidence.
- Business Continuity: Line manager for individual team and responsible for development and implementation of business continuity plans and procedures.
- Embedding FCA Principles: Embedding FCA's principle 12 within the team including any associated policies and practices.
- Private Medical: Private Medical paid for by Company.
- Protection Benefits: Meaningful protection benefits with real value, such as 10X life cover, PHI, and critical illness.*
- Pension Scheme: Non-Contributory Pension – 10% (increasing with length of service up to 15%) with further pension matching.
- Parental Leave: Parental leave – 6 months full pay
- Holiday Entitlement: 28 days holiday entitlement plus bank holidays (based on full-time equivalent) with the option to buy up to an additional 5 days holiday
