We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a seasoned and motivated Operations Director to become a vital part of our organization, primarily overseeing our locations across Scotland and Northern England.

This position is integral to our Business & Industry division, which focuses on providing exceptional catering and dining services within the workplace. As one of the industry's largest and most innovative contract caterers, we leverage advanced technology to cater to the tastes and dietary needs of our four million daily customers.

Your Key Responsibilities:

As the Operations Director, your main duties will include:

  • Fostering a culture of exceptional customer service within your area.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and company standards within your strategic responsibilities.
  • Creating a framework for financial growth and consistently surpassing financial objectives.
  • Building and nurturing external relationships with senior clients to exceed their expectations and deliver a compelling service proposition.
  • Overseeing the Operations Management function within your designated area.
  • Managing recruitment, support, training, and development of the operations team to ensure a high-quality, efficient service.
  • Collaborating with the sales team through site visits and presentations, ensuring operational feasibility of bids, and developing centers of excellence within sites.

Travel Requirements: This role requires travel to various sites primarily in Scotland and Northern England (company vehicle provided).

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

What We Seek:

The ideal candidate for the Operations Director position will possess:

  • Extensive experience in contract catering within a multi-site senior management role.
  • Experience in the Business & Industry sector is preferred.
  • A proven ability to establish and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading, inspiring, and motivating a diverse team.
  • Strong influencing skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management and P&L oversight.
