About the Role

As an Access Control Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:


  • Leading a small team of Electricians and providing technical support.
  • Attending meetings with Suppliers, Clients, and Internal Customers to ensure project success.
  • Liaising with Suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Organizing workload effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Conducting Risk Assessments on automatic gates to ensure safety.
  • Managing general administration tasks, including RAMS, technical files, and quotations.
  • Developing new areas of the Business, specifically Access Control.
  • Carrying out installations and fault finding on gate and access control systems.


Responsibilities

Core Experience, Qualifications, and Skills:


  • Project development and management with timely delivery.
  • Experience in managing and supervising a team.
  • Good knowledge of Access Control and Automatic Gates.
  • Experience with safety relays or programmable safety controllers.
  • Experience in specifying control elements in automation.
  • Ability to grow the customer base within Access Control and Automatic Gates.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good IT skills and experience with Word and Excel packages.

  • Maintaining awareness of and conforming to the organisation's Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy.
  • Following Safety Rules and Safe Systems of Work Procedures.
  • Wearing appropriate safety equipment and using safety devices as specified.

  • Reporting injuries and incidents to their Manager or First Aider.
  • Maintaining good housekeeping at their workstation and surrounding area.
