Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team at W P Recruitment & HR Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing low voltage electrical control systems, as well as commissioning instrumentation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation and servicing of low voltage electrical control systems

• Commissioning of instrumentation systems, including pressure, levels, temperature, and flow

• Working to technical specifications and blueprints to determine and plan layout

• Testing, inspecting, diagnosing, and implementing solutions

• Providing technical reports and documentation

• Collaborating with other trades staff and contractors

• Ensuring adherence to health and safety, regulatory, and quality standards

Requirements

• Full electrical apprenticeship or minimum of level 3 qualifications

• 18th Edition and ECS Gold Card

• 2391 certification, IPAF/PASMA, or SSSTS an advantage

• Water industry experience an advantage

• Good level of computer literacy

• Full driver's licence

• Ability to work well on own initiative as well as part of a team

• Based on the Isle of Wight due to call out requirement

Benefits

• Competitive hourly rate of £18-20 DOE

• £200 call out standby/week and 1.25 per hour call out

• OTE £45,000 plus per annum
