Job Title: Personal and Social Development Lecturer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Personal and Social Development Lecturer to join our team at Gi Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive lessons to young learners aged 14-16 who have been home-educated, with a focus on their transition to college.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver lesson plans that address various aspects of personal and social development, aligned with the NCFE L1/E3 Certificate in Personal and Social Development.
  • Provide individual guidance and support to help students develop their skills in IT, communication, teamwork, following instructions, and time management.
  • Encourage students to reflect on their newfound knowledge and apply it to their personal and academic goals.
  • Collaborate with other program staff to ensure a seamless transition for students from home education to college.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with young learners, particularly those who have been home-educated.
  • Strong understanding of personal and social development principles and theories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Passion for helping young people succeed in their academic and personal endeavors.
