About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced lecturer to join our Hair and Beauty delivery team at RNN Group. As a lecturer in hairdressing and barbering, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality education and training to our learners, inspiring them to achieve their potential and make a positive impact on the wider community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Barbering/Hairdressing level 1 to level 3 and evening courses, as well as some weekend work and involvement in competition work.
  • Develop and create resources to inspire outstanding learning and track and monitor learner progress to promote positive outcomes.
  • Work effectively with colleagues and management to achieve strategic and organisational objectives.
  • Hold at least GCSE grade 1-4 (or equivalent) qualification in English and maths, a minimum level 5 teaching qualification, and a minimum level 3 in hairdressing and/or barbering.
  • Have experience of working with our awarding body VTCT and be an effective and motivated team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
