Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Sustainability Manager to join our team at AndersElite. As an Environmental Sustainability Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' projects are implemented in a sustainable and environmentally responsible manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Environmental Management: Ensure that environmental management is implemented on the project, including the development and implementation of environmental management plans.
- Procurement Documentation: Ensure that procurement documentation reflects the project's sustainability requirements, including the development of sustainable procurement policies and procedures.
- Site Surveillances and Audits: Conduct regular site surveillances and audits to ensure that projects and supply chain comply with the requirements of legislation.
- Carbon Emissions and Waste Reduction: Manage projects to reduce carbon emissions and waste, and ensure that goods and services are ethically procured.
- Client Requirements: Ensure that each project understands their clients' sustainability requirements, including the delivery of environmental assessments.
- Reporting and Performance Monitoring: Report project performance against client requirements and review project performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Best Practice and Training: Identify and communicate best practice across the business unit and deliver training on environmental management and sustainability for project staff and supply chain.
Requirements:
- Experience: Experience in a construction environmental/sustainability role.
- Qualifications: Qualifications/strong knowledge of environmental assessment methods (BREEAM, LEED etc.).
- Technical Skills: Technically review, advise, and manage delivery of improved sustainability performance and environmental assessments.
- Project Management: Manage delivery of the company and client sustainability requirements from pre-construction to practical completion.
