Job Description

Job Title: Recycling Operative

Job Type: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Expected Hours: 45 per week

Working Hours: Monday - Fridays, 6pm-4am

Job Summary:

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Recycling Sorters. As a Recycling Sorter, you will play a crucial role in the recycling process by sorting and segregating various materials to ensure proper recycling and waste management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sorting Recyclable Materials: Sort through incoming materials to separate recyclables.
  • Operating Machinery: Operate conveyor belts, sorting machines, and other equipment efficiently and safely to facilitate the sorting process.
  • Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep work areas clean and organized to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Dispose of waste materials properly according to established procedures.
  • Following Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to accurately identify and sort different types of materials.
  • Safety Consciousness: Commitment to following safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Reliability: Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
