Aspris Children's Services Limited is seeking a dedicated Food Service Support Specialist to enhance our catering team. We are in search of enthusiastic individuals who can assist in the delivery of our catering services, focusing on basic food preparation, hygiene standards, and promoting healthy eating habits that contribute to the well-being of our children and young people.

In this role, you will be responsible for specific aspects of the catering operation under supervision. Your duties will include ensuring that the kitchen and related areas adhere to operational hygiene standards and comply with the company's Assured Safe Catering Policies and Procedures. You will also assist the Chef in meal preparation and cooking, following established guidelines.

This position offers 30 hours per week (5 days x 6 hours), during term time only. Benefits include:

Aspris Children's Services Limited operates an independent specialist day school designed to support children and young people aged 6 to 19 years with high-functioning autistic spectrum disorders, including Asperger's Syndrome and related challenges.

Our school environment is tailored to provide a strong focus for both UK and international students, offering varying levels of support to help them succeed. We aim to empower young individuals with autistic spectrum disorders and associated difficulties to thrive in a complex society.

Students are encouraged to aspire to live and work as self-reliant adults, and we are committed to helping them achieve their goals through continuous support, structure, and guidance.

While prior catering experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement. The successful candidate will assist our Chef in preparing meals for our young people and staff, maintain the dining area, and help with post-meal clean-up.

We seek someone who can engage effectively with our young people and create visually appealing displays that provide information about food, nutrition, culture, and traditions.
