We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Emergency Medicine Consultant to join our dynamic team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain high-quality patient-centered care
- Share responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service and participate in strategic planning
- Teach and train within the multidisciplinary service
- Active involvement in multidisciplinary team meetings and directorate clinical governance activity
- Active participation in continuing medical education

Requirements- Entry on GMC Specialist Register or, be within 6 months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at time of interview or, provide GMC confirmed eligibility for entry on the Specialist Register
- MRCPCH by examination or equivalent
- Paediatric Emergency Medicine Subspecialty Training via RCPCH route (or demonstrably equivalent training)
- Advanced Paediatric Life Support (or European Paediatric Advanced Life Support) and Advanced Trauma Life Support
- Valid Level 3 Safeguarding Training
- Postgraduate degree (or equivalent)
- ATLS/EPALS/APLS instructor status (at least one of these)
- Demonstrable experience in a Locum Consultant role
